How to Verify an Anjouan Gaming Licence: Register, Seal, QR

Verify an Anjouan gaming licence on the regulator's register: what Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired mean, and what a register hit does not prove.

How to Verify an Anjouan Gaming Licence: Register, Seal, QR

To verify an Anjouan gaming licence, search the Authority’s public register by licence number, company name or domain, and read the status: only Active permits licensed activity. A result confirms licensing status only, not endorsement, and the data is updated periodically.

This desk read the status definitions and related pages on 15 October 2026.

How to verify an Anjouan gaming licence: four statuses

StatusMay operate?Cause
ActiveYes, within conditionsValid, good standing
SuspendedNo, while suspendedInvestigation or deficiencies
RevokedNoSerious breach, persistent non-compliance
ExpiredNoNot renewed

What a register hit does not prove

The registry disclaimer says a listed domain was only notified by the licensee, not proven owned; the verify page says contact the Authority for time-sensitive checks. Certificate QR codes, like the seal, should open the register. A recognition letter is not a licence.

Frequently asked questions

How do you check if an Anjouan gaming licence is valid?

Enter the licence number, company name or domain into the Authority’s public register. Read the result’s registered name, licence number, B2C or B2B type and status. Only Active means the holder may operate. A certificate’s QR code should open that same register page.

Is an Anjouan gaming licence legitimate?

A specific licence can be relied on only if the Authority’s register returns it as Active. A badge, PDF or footer number is not proof. Whether other jurisdictions recognise an Anjouan licence is a separate question, and this post does not answer it.

What does a suspended Anjouan licence mean?

The Authority has temporarily stopped the licence, and the holder may not conduct licensed activities while the suspension lasts. Its definitions say suspension may follow an investigation, deficiencies needing remediation, or unresolved regulatory concerns. Revocation, by contrast, is a permanent withdrawal.

No operator is named as licensed. Gambling is for adults.
